Open December 5, the Museum’s latest exhibit, Rosanne Cash: Time Is a Mirror, traces the life of an artist, raised within a legacy few get to experience, who established a legacy all her own. Referred to as “a musical mystic” and a “songwriting time traveler,” Cash has created work that moves among genres and transcends time with a singular voice.

Gibson Dove Guitar

After Rosanne Cash’s husband John Leventhal acquired this 1964 Gibson Dove in the 1990s, it became her primary performance guitar for many years. Leventhal also played the instrument extensively on Cash’s 2003 album, Rules of Travel, and presented it to Rosanne’s daughter Carrie Crowell and her husband, musician and producer Dan Knobler, as a wedding gift in 2014.
