The Frist Library and Archive represents more than fifty years' worth of collecting country music books, periodicals, photographs, fan club newsletters, scrapbooks, sheet music, songbooks, video and film, oral histories, and sound recordings.
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is dedicated to preserving its unparalleled collection of historically and culturally unique resources documenting the history of country music, as well as making them publicly accessible for research and educational purposes.
The processing, cataloging, and digitization of collection materials is ongoing. Additional materials are added to the online resources on a continuous basis. For inquiries about content that is not available through the online resources please email: archives@countrymusichalloffame.org

Digital Archive
The online Digital Archive contains digitized content including photographic images, recorded sound, moving images, printed materials, posters, oral history interviews, objects, and born digital items. Due to copyright restrictions, some content within the Digital Archive is restricted to onsite use only.
Finding Aids
Finding aids serve as inventories that describe and list the contents of manuscript collections and contain information about the individual or organization that created the collection. Through the online ArchivesSpace platform you can search and browse these finding aids for collections that are available for research.
